You are the owner or tenant of an industrial or public building and you would like to drastically reduce your energy bills.
You have old fluorescent lighting
Old lighting usually uses up a lot of energy – high consumption for both lamps and ballasts. You can put an end to this. There are two options. The first option is to invest in energy-efficient lighting such as T5 LED or LED. This way you can easily halve your bills, but that does require a significant investment. New lights, fittings, and a lot of work. Our idea is simpler.
If your building is used mainly during the day, then we have the perfect solution for you. You can leave your old lights in. We will ensure that they are rarely turned on. The LightCatcher is always the ideal lighting solution for around 3,650 hours a year or up to 70 hours a week. Why invest in a new lighting installation if you can easily ensure that your old lighting is never used? That means less consumption and fewer maintenance costs because your lights will last longer if they’re not used as much. It also means that you won’t need to replace bulbs and starters as often.
This way you can make an annual energy saving of up to almost 45,000 kWh per 1,000 sqm of floor area in a normal hangar. This reduces your energy bill very quickly by € 6,000 per year, for every 1,000 sqm of floor area.
Do you have a roof surface of 5,000 sqm and are you looking to save without investing? You can do that with our ‘LightCatcher Light Energy’ concept. This means that we invest in placing LightCatchers on your roof. You start saving from day one.

You have just fitted energy-efficient lighting
You wanted to save energy and reduce your ecological footprint, or you are busy with a new build so you have chosen energy-efficient lighting. Great! Can you still use the LightCatcher? Yes of course. Because the cheapest energy is the energy you don’t use. Even the most energy-efficient lighting uses 2.5 watt per 100 lux that you want to shine on 1 sqm of floor surface. For a warehouse of 1,000 sqm (light intensity needed: 200 lux) this still gives an energy usage of 18,000 kWh.
It’s definitely worth having your lighting needs replaced by the LightCatcher. Instead of using 2.5 watt, it uses 0 watt for its entire lifecycle. We can reduce your consumption by up to 3,650 hours a year by replacing your artificial lighting with daylight. You get the same light intensity and higher light comfort, with zero energy usage. And that converts to savings of up to € 2,400 per year for every 1,000 sqm of floor area.
